Process Engineer

Sweden — Stockholm, Gothenburg or Uddevalla · Full-time · Permanent · Technology & Engineering

Design and optimise the processes that make our plants run, from feasibility studies and simulations through to commissioning and operation.

Infiniteria is a growing company on a mission to make tyre production sustainable. We are building industrial solutions that make circularity profitable, scalable and real.

Our mission is clear: to transform end-of-life tyres into high-value materials for new tyres and fuels, enabling circular material loops at industrial scale — without compromising on economics, safety or industrial-grade engineering.

Infiniteria combines the pace and ownership of a young company with the discipline that large-scale industrial projects require.

As a Process Engineer you contribute to high-value process design solutions for production plants converting end-of-life tyres into marketable products, supporting production and quality objectives while ensuring compliance with industrial standards for safety, environmental protection, engineering integrity and plant availability.

This is a hands-on technical role in an early-stage environment, with real influence over how our facilities are designed, built and operated.

What you will do

  • Ensure technical integrity of process design and optimise process solutions
  • Design plant processes with focus on pyrolysis, oil and gas processing and utilities
  • Support development of feasibility studies, functional specifications and Basis of Design documents
  • Develop and verify process simulations, block flow diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs and mass and heat balances
  • Prepare equipment lists and datasheets and contribute to cost estimation
  • Perform technical integrity and HSE reviews and participate in hazard identification and HAZOP activities
  • Support commissioning, start-up and plant operation, and provide technical support to O&M teams

What we are looking for

  • Engineering degree
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical, electrical or oil & gas plants
  • At least 3 years of experience in pyrolysis or hydrocarbon processing studies
  • Experience from industrial production plants and exposure to project management
  • Good communication, organisational skills and risk awareness
  • Fluency in English and eligibility to work in Sweden

What we offer

  • Early-stage influence on decisions that define how our plants work for years to come
  • Technically meaningful work: pyrolysis at industrial scale is a genuine engineering challenge
  • Small team and short decision paths — your input matters and gets heard
  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with the seniority of the role
